Weekend with Hannah Montana and Ashtyn
On Friday afternoon (around 1:00 PM) I was able to find some tickets to the Hannah Montana concert that night in Salt Lake City. I had been wanting to take my niece, Ashtyn, since she's a HUGE fan! I got the tickets at 1:30 and then left to go pick up Ashtyn in Idaho. Sheri was kind enough to meet me in Tremonton. Ashtyn had no clue what was going on, so when she got in my car I gave her the tickets and told her to read them to find out where we were going. It took a minute for the realization to set in and then she wasn't sure if she dared ask if she was really getting to go to Hannah Montana. The look on her face was priceless! Sheri got a picture of it so I'll have to post it. We got back to Salt Lake and into the Delta Center just in time for the concert to start. What a fast trip!! The concert was tons of fun for Ashtyn (and all the other thousands of little girls there). The noise (from screaming little girls) was louder than any other concert I have been to. They were also filming the new Hannah Montana movie at the concert so we actually got to see the concert twice, because when the main concert was over they needed to film it again from different camera angles. We stayed to watch it and got to move clear down to the front seats next to the floor. It was a fun thing to watch and a great experience for Ashtyn.
